Car traffic on Metro and Paton bridges to be resumed in Kyiv

For auto communication between the left and right banks of the capital, the Darnitsky, North, South bridges, the Metro bridge and the Paton bridge will operate.

On June 20, vehicular traffic across the Metro and Paton bridges will be restored in Kyiv .

Vitali Klitschko, mayor of Kiev, announced this on Telegram .

“In Kyiv, from Monday morning, June 20, we are restoring traffic also on the Metro and Paton bridges,” Klitschko said.

The mayor noted that the Darnytskyi, Northern, Southern bridges, the Metro bridge and the Paton bridge will operate for auto communication between the left and right banks of the capital.

The city authorities will report on the organization of public transport, taking into account the resumption of traffic on bridges.

“I urge drivers to comply with traffic rules, the speed limit, and also let ambulances, police cars, rescuers and cars with humanitarian cargo pass,” Klitschko wrote.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrzaliznytsia has strengthened entry control at the central Kievsky railway station , where from now on passengers and their suitcases will be checked through metal detectors.
