❓️ Can we bring Maryna back?
Maryna Chekh was tirelessly posting about the events in Ukraine after the full-scale invasion broke out and factual information in English was practically non-existent. After some time, she has become known for her passionate reporting turning into a go-to source for so many of you and growing her follower count to 13,000 or perhaps more (please correct me if I’m wrong Alessio Rebola).
Quite expectedly, Maryna was targeted by kremlin trolls and pro-russian users and eventually got restricted. For over a year now, she has no access to her account here.

I had the pleasure of meeting Maryna during my brief stay in Rome (quite a synchronicity that we happened to visit the Eternal City at the same time!), and I can attest that she is everything you know her for — and even more! 💙💛
Maryna is a kind and compassionate person, going out of her way to help Ukrainian women taking refuge in Italy. Maryna is a true patriot, deeply caring for her people.
As a true Ukrainian woman and a free defiant spirit, she has not given up, having engaged lawyers to help her restore her LinkedIn account.
But perhaps we can help her with this?
Note that this platform also helped Maryna raise funds to rebuild a gymnasium in Izium. Due to the current situation, the project had to be put on hold, but it will be resumed come better times.
Both of these beautiful women are tireless campaigners and fundraisers for the ZSU.
I notice that she is on Twitter, but her following looks quite low if you go off the views on her videos.
I don’t use X because it is a nazi site; I’m surprised that she does.
She has been posting insightful news and OpEds on LI for some years. She is one of the most highly-rated Ukrainian users; up there with Volodymyr Kukharenko and Yana Rudenko.
Around a year ago kremtrolls got her banned. She successfully restored her account again and got banned again; seemingly permanently. For no good reason.
Yana got banned three times but always got reinstated.
