US permission to use American weapons to destroy Russian military targets in occupied Crimea “will make our life easier.” This was stated by the head of Ukrainian intelligence Kirill Budanov in an interview with The Philadelphia Inquirer .

Likely the principal reason why the putler bridge has not been rendered completely beyond repair is the number of missiles required to finish it off.
Estimates suggest that over 100 will be needed. Of course the defenders have to keep large numbers in reserve, in order to be prepared for any horrible eventuality.
If Ukraine’s inventory of ATACM’s, Storms and home grown fires can be stockpiled to safe levels, then I’d guess the order will be given.

Being out of range of Ukrainian air defense is a suicide mission for F-16’s, as even if all russian air defense on and near Crimea is taken out, the F-16’s will have to face a shit ton of russian fighter jets.
