The UK Secretary and former Prime Minister David Cameron visited Kyiv on Thursday and promised Ukraine 3 billion pounds (3.74 billion dollars) annually, as well as stated that Ukraine has the right to use the weapons received from Britain to strike russian territory. This was reported by the BBC.
The official Kyiv has not yet reported on David Cameron’s visit.
“We will give three billion pounds every year for as long as it is necessary. We have simply exhausted everything we could in terms of equipment and weapons”, – Reuters quoted Cameron as saying.
As for the use of the funds received from Britain against russian territory, this, according to Cameron, is up to the Ukrainians to decide.
“Ukraine has that right. Russia is striking Ukrainian territory, and it is quite understandable that Ukraine feels the need to ensure its own defense”, – Cameron said.
Cameron met in Kyiv with President Volodymyr Zelensky and other members of the Ukrainian leadership and, in particular, announced new shipments of weapons and ammunition from Britain, including high-precision air bombs, anti-aircraft missiles and equipment for 100 mobile anti-aircraft groups.

Britain is against its troops going to Ukraine, but at least this is good news.
There is an election soon. Unlike in the states, there is no disagreement on Ukraine policy between the two big parties.
It seems likely that Labour will win.
Largely because the putlerite Reform UK; Farage’s shitshow, will plunder Tory votes.
Rishi won’t send troops when he’s so far down in the polls, but if he pulls off a miracle and gets a mandate, I would expect sending UK forces will be on the cards.
Especially if Macron is as good as his word.
If Macron ever makes this move, I think that a few others might follow suit.
Sadly, we can forget about the US in this regard.
This makes me wonder what Scholz would do, then. He sure would hate to send Bundeswehr soldiers to Ukraine, but on the other hand, if Germany shows weakness while France leads, the country will lose much political leverage in Europe. Then Macron would call the shots, with support from the North and the East. A devasrating outlook for the Gernan chancellor. 🤔
I think the prospects of Germany losing its leadership role in Europe doesn’t concern the eraser head so much, Mr. Gray. He’s already made himself and Germany look ridiculous over his stubborn refusal to send Taurus missiles. Scholz would do well to finally grow a set of balls, even if they were only the size of peas. He must learn that being “besonnen” will never stop an evil and brutal regime like putler’s. The moscow sewer rats understand only strength. Everything else they see as weakness that must be manipulated.
