He says he knows who is behind this.

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, said that he knows who is behind the poisoning of his wife , which became known at the end of November.
In an interview with the French publication Liberation , he said that Marianna Budanova is already feeling better. At the same time, the scout noted that there was no poison in his body. “But I have survived many assassination attempts and will probably survive many more,” he added.
“I think that in the near future you will see corresponding actions on Russian territory, and everyone will understand this,” Budanov added.

Imho a very bad idea to publicly announce retaliation. In his position, Budanov shouldn’t be seen as putting personal interests over national ones in any way. Also, being emotionally involved is the opposite of the necessary objectivity that his job requires. Looks like the FSB’s criminal act got to his nerves, and that’s not a good look. So, I repeat my concern: Budanov talks too much.
To give another point of view, Budanov’s unit that he commands is known to be well-led, well-trained, and highly effective. Any threats by him will have an impact on the roaches, if they admit it or not. This will cause frazzled nerves in mafia land by those who are responsible. Making your enemy look over his shoulder constantly has a value in itself.
Hmm, ok, sounds reasonable, Mr. Ofp. Still, I think the leader of secret operations shouldn’t be in the media that much. It’s better to leave the enemy in the dark and let the actions create fear, uncertainty and doubt, imho. But, ok, what’s most important are the successes and Budanov already has many on his belt. That’s certainly the reason why the effing FSB tried to mess with him by going after his wife. They try to stop him any way they can, so evidently he must have hit’em where it hurts.
Indeed, I’m sure that Bidanov knows what he’s doing, including going public with this message.
Often, you must risk poking a stick at a suspected wasp nest to see if any are in there. IMHO, this statement was the stick, and now he’ll watch the nest to see where the wasps have been disturbed by this.
No Emotion, No Changes, says bring it Ruzzia. Nothing changed. Same Budanov. Same Job. He cannot be intimidated and shows it. That’s talking just enough. Any less, Ruzzia would be winning. So imho, Budanov is on point, per usual. He is the bad cop, always has been. His job IS RETALIATION, ALL DAY EVERYDAY.
