Bryansk authorities have begun creating obstacles for Putin’s army for an interesting reason: Atesh has revealed the details.

Local authorities in Bryansk have begun obstructing the Russian army’s operations. This is because the region, which borders Sumy Oblast, regularly suffers from strikes carried out in response to Russian attacks on Ukraine.

As a result, the region’s population is without electricity and communications, according to the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian-Crimean Tatar military movement “Atesh.”

“Local authorities in Bryansk are sabotaging the work of the Russian army,” the statement reads.

Strikes on the Russian region are leading to local discontent

A partisan agent affiliated with one of Bryansk’s district administrations reports growing discontent among local officials due to the regular attacks on the region. According to him, after every shelling of Ukrainian cities by the Russian Armed Forces, a retaliatory attack follows almost immediately.

“The border region is paying for this with destruction, power outages, and growing public anger. Meanwhile, the Russian Armed Forces are unable to provide reliable protection even for their own territory,” the statement noted.

Officials are obstructing the actions of the Russian army.

Rumors are circulating in government circles that certain officials are deliberately creating obstacles for the Russian military. In practice, this manifests itself in delays in processing the acceptance certificates for military premises for several weeks, either without explanation or under the pretext of “technical problems.”

Moreover, in border areas, mobile communications are regularly shut down, supposedly for preventative purposes, precisely during critical military moments, and coordinating radio frequencies for electronic warfare and military communications equipment can take a long time.

“The Bryansk region is teetering on the brink of collapse, like Smolensk or the infamous Belgorod. The regime is single-handedly creating conditions in which even loyal officials are forced to sabotage the army’s work—either deliberately or under pressure,” ATESH emphasized.

As a reminder, agents of the Atesh movement recently announced another successful sabotage operation in the Belgorod region, disabling an enemy communications tower. This effectively blinded the enemy in a specific sector, as the tower was equipped with video surveillance systems that transmitted data on movements in the border zone. Coordination and defense against drones also became problematic.

As OBOZ.UA reported, agent “Atesh” carried out a successful act of sabotage in Russia’s Bryansk region, disabling equipment at an electrical substation. It supplied power to a railway station through which trains carrying ammunition and equipment for the occupiers at the front passed, as well as to factories and fuel storage facilities.
