Parade in Moscow on May 9 – latest news

As UNIAN reported, in Moscow, security forces are entrenched in positions until May 9. According to Russian media, security forces who are on vacation, days off, and sick leave are being called to work.

“Many of them are tasked with literally “burying themselves” in predetermined positions, including bridges, heights, and even city sewers. It is known that air and water equipment will be involved in the tasks,” the report says.

At the same time, it became known that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev refused to fly to the parade to meet Putin . The reason for this decision was that he had to take part in domestic events dedicated to Heydar Aliyev.
