British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has arrived in Kiev.

This was announced by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga.

“Right now, Boris Johnson’s visit to Kyiv began with a tête-à-tête meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky,” he said.

Sibiga stressed that the UK is a leader in defense support for Ukraine, in the anti-war coalition and in sanctions against the Russian aggressor.

Earlier it became known that the UK  is developing a plan to send Mastiff or Chakal armored vehicles to Ukraine. The British Ministry of Defense is considering options for sending Mastiff-type armored vehicles. As well as vehicles like the Chakal, which can be used as reconnaissance or long-range patrols.

In addition, The Times, citing a source, reported that British troops would be sent to a country neighboring Ukraine for exercises.

  1. Boris has been magnificent with Ukraine. There’s no votes in it for him, but he shows what his detractors claim he has not got; integrity.
But I’m afraid he must go a lot further to ensure his efforts are not in vain. That means cruise missiles, tanks and heavy artillery.
Nato and Biden are not going to shift, therefore Boris must put five brigades of mechanised troops, plus special forces, in harm’s way in Ukraine, but protect them with air support from our Typhoons. Ideally some destroyers too. We have six; send three to the Black Sea.
