Ukrainian soldiers burned a column of Russian equipment near Pokrovsk. The enemy tried to enter the city before dawn, under cover of darkness.
The defeat occurred a few kilometers south of the line of combat contact. Footage of the accurate work of operators of the 155th separate mechanized brigade named after Anna Kyivska was shown in the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Enemy column destroyed
The column of invaders was hit on January 10 south of the city.
“Soldiers of the 155th Mechanized Brigade burned a column of Russians near Pokrovsk. The pilots worked on cars and infantry while they were trying to reach the city. Combat work was conducted 6–7 km south of the line of combat contact !” – the Ground Forces said.
The 155th Motorized Rifle Brigade clarified : the pilots of the 3rd MB brigade’s BPA company accurately executed the enemy’s attacks. The enemy tried to enter the city “in the dark”, that is, before sunrise.
“This work is being carried out by the 3rd MB BPAK Company of the 155th OMB. The company is currently collecting T4 buses . By supporting this unit, you will support real pros in destroying the occupiers ! Link to the bank,” they addressed the Ukrainians in the brigade.
Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that an FPV drone operator ambushed an invader who was strolling along the landing strip in the Pokrovsky direction. The finale of the “voyage” for the Russian turned out to be predictable.
Meanwhile, on January 8, the Institute for the Study of War stated that Ukrainian troops had advanced in the Kharkiv and Pokrov directions.
