In this explosive analysis, Jonathan MS Pearce breaks down Donald Trump’s latest Middle East gambit—demanding NATO allies protect the Strait of Hormuz. With Japan rejecting his request, NATO allies refusing to escalate, and Trump threatening to bypass international law, the US president is pushing NATO to its breaking point. We dissect the implications for global energy security, US alliances, and the future of NATO itself. Plus, expert reactions, historical parallels, and what this means for Ukraine, Iran, and the broader war in the Middle East.

You didn’t need the help of the UK when they offered their ships last week. You arrogantly replied, “we don’t need your help the war is won.”
I hope all the other allies that TACO has treated like shit, also give him the middle finger.
