Russian forces attacked the Kherson Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant overnight – the facility has sustained very serious damage, and Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the oblast military administration is urging residents to leave. According to Prokudin, Kherson may be left without electricity and heating for an extended period.

Details: Prokudin added that the city authorities, utility services, energy workers and the government are already working on alternative heating and energy supply options for Kherson.
He also said the security situation in Kherson is extremely difficult. Since 1 July, 170 guided aerial bombs have already been dropped on Kherson Oblast – more in nearly two months than during the entire first half of 2026.
Over the past two months, Russian forces have launched more than 1,700 attack drones. In particular, they have begun more actively using jet-powered Shaheds and Gerbera drones for strikes on critical infrastructure in Kherson Oblast.
In addition, the number of attacks by small FPV drones has risen to 6,500 in just one week.

That is both disgusting and heartbreaking to read. I know Kherson, it’s a nice city and a beautiful oblast with many natural wonders.
Since its liberation from vermin, putler has had a hard-on for it and the murders and terror have increased incrementally.
Ukraine just doesn’t have the resources to drive the filth from the oblast and no fucker will help them.

I am sick to death of the vile putler-rimming US president who cannot even condemn the rat nazi, whatever horrors he inflicts, let alone help Ukraine.
The UK with a population only slightly larger than Ukraine now, managed to build an army of 3 million in 1939-40.
Ukraine must get to 2 million in double quick time. I don’t care where they come from : conscription, returning refugees, mercs, foreign legion etc, but Ukraine simply must double its present armed forces: it’s the only way to retake and hold land.
Destroy all the launchers in Russian occupied Ukraine.
I think Ukraine has been negligent in the defense of this city.
