President Volodymyr Zelenskyy acknowledged that the liberation of the territories temporarily occupied by Russia is impossible.

The publication notes that Ukraine would welcome a ceasefire that “would settle the war along its current front line but would not allow the international community to recognize Russia’s control over any occupied territories.”
“This is because the country’s Constitution does not allow its president or parliament to unilaterally change its territorial structure or tolerate the violation of its territory.
However, Zelensky acknowledged that the liberation of the occupied territories by military force is no longer possible, and it will be necessary to resort to diplomatic solutions,” The Telegraph writes.
The publication also noted that Trump declared his openness to meeting with Putin without Zelensky, “reneging on his previous promise to participate only in trilateral peace talks.”
