BREAKING NEWS: “We need to do something”: Trump threatens Mexico after operation in Venezuela

According to the American leader, the United States allegedly “lost 300,000 people” from drugs coming from Mexican territory.

Following the operation in Venezuela , US President Donald Trump issued threats against Mexico and its President Claudia Steinbaum. He claimed that Mexico is “run by cartels” and that “something needs to be done about it.” He made this statement during a briefing in the US.

He claimed to have a “friendly relationship” with the Mexican president, but it’s as if the country is run not by her, but by the cartels. Trump noted that he had allegedly already offered to dismantle the cartels to Steinbaum, but she had refused.

“She’s a good woman, but Mexico is run by cartels. She doesn’t run Mexico. Mexico is run by cartels… No, no, you know, she’s very afraid of the cartels… And I’ve asked her many times: do you want us to dismantle the cartels? ‘No, no, no, no, Mr. President. No, no, no, please,'” the American leader said.

Trump added that “we need to do something,” as the United States allegedly “lost 300,000 people” to drugs coming from Mexican territory.

“You know, they like to say 100,000. 100,000 is still a huge number of people. But the real figure is 300,000 people. And we lost them to drugs. And they come through the southern border, primarily through the southern border,” the US president said.

The situation in Venezuela – latest news

Trump previously called the war in Ukraine “primitive” in light of the US operation in Venezuela. He claimed that most of the Venezuelan government “has already defected to America.”

“We couldn’t pass up the chance to do this incredible thing. We must do it again, we can do it again. No one can stop us. No one has the capabilities we have. When I watch this war in Russia (Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine – UNIAN), which goes on and on, and everyone is dying, it’s primitive. It’s primitive. It’s terrible,” Trump said.

He also revealed details of the operation in Venezuela . The US president emphasized that he had previously spoken personally with Maduro and offered him “surrender” and “capitulation,” but he refused.

Trump also boasted about the professionalism of the special forces team during the capture of the Venezuelan dictator.

  1. Is the least popular American president ever trying to gain some points by following putlersim’s methodology of waging wars to be popular?

  2. Maduro was kidnapped and charged with cocaine trafficking. A guy was pardoned for importing 400 tons of the stuff into the US. Anyone else confused?

    • But that fellow president was released after stating many times he ‘loved’Trump. So Trump released him. So, still hope for Maduro, say you adore him, love him, call him genius or whatever……….

  3. Trump added that “we need to do something,” as the United States allegedly “lost 300,000 people” to drugs coming from Mexican territory.

Hasn’t the US just spent billions on a wall to prevent drugs from entering the US? Is he saying his wall doesn’t work?

  4. Sheinbaum works for Putin. She allowed illegals to cross Mexico’s southern border. They were even escorted to the US border and supplied with food and water on their way. Further it would be up to Mexican police to take out the cartells, yet they keep sitting on their hands.
