NATO is closely monitoring the situation surrounding reports of invasion of Lithuanian airspace by possibly Russian drones from the territory of Belarus.
This was announced by an official NATO representative in a comment to the “EP” , Censor.NET reports.
“National investigations are ongoing and we are closely monitoring the situation,” an Alliance representative said.
He noted that NATO “works together with allies to ensure our shared security.”
“Our commitment to protect and defend every ally is unwavering,” the Alliance representative stressed.
As a reminder, the police reported the detection of an unidentified drone that flew into the country from Belarus.
