The United States will sell about $10 billion worth of weapons to NATO allies for further supplies to Ukraine.

Axios writes about this, citing an informed source , reports Censor.NET.
A source told Axios that the US will sell about $10 billion worth of weapons to NATO allies “in the first wave.” This includes missiles, air defense systems, and artillery shells.
“This is a seismic political turn on the part of Trump, who from the beginning refused to side with Ukraine and until recently insisted on supplying only defensive weapons to avoid an escalation in the war,” the publication writes.
Axios writes that the US, Ukraine and Europe hope that new arms supplies will change the course of the war and Putin’s calculations regarding a ceasefire.
A White House representative also told the publication that Russia must agree to a ceasefire within 50 days, otherwise it will face tough sanctions and tariffs.
We will remind you that US President Trump announced agreements with NATO on the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
In turn, NATO Secretary General Marco Rutte said that NATO will pay for weapons for Ukraine, which will be produced by the United States of America.
