Ukrainian experience, both offensive and defensive, is being studied and implemented by the American army.

US military personnel were sent to Ukraine to learn how to use unmanned aerial vehicles on the battlefield and implement this experience in the US Army,  US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said during a hearing in the US Senate.

Thus, the head of the Pentagon answered a question from Republican Senator Mitch McConnell about whether there are any bans on high-ranking US officials traveling to Ukraine.

On this issue, the senator referred to the words of US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll that Ukraine is the “Silicon Valley of military affairs.”

As Hegseth noted, many high-ranking officials were sent to Ukraine and thanks to this, a lot was learned.

“In fact, I personally approved sending additional personnel there to train on the battlefield using drones – both offensively and defensively – to make sure that we learn every possible lesson from this conflict and implement them in real time in how we defend and go offensive in an era where drone dominance is required. And that’s why there’s so much money in this budget for the Drone Dominance initiative, to learn the lessons learned in Ukraine and other battlefields and ensure they are applied across all combat forces as quickly as possible,” he stressed.

New defense agreement

As UNIAN reported, the governments of the United States and Ukraine have developed a draft memorandum defining the terms of a potential new defense agreement between the countries. The agreement should allow Ukraine to export military technologies to the United States and produce drones in joint ventures with American companies.

  1. If you want to be the best, you have to learn from the best. I hope they are grateful.

  2. If there’s a silver lining in this war, it’s that Ukraine is finally being acknowledged as a wonderfully innovative, tenacious and a democratic country that takes no shit. It’s been three hundred years under Russia’s thumb and it’s coming to its own. It’s been more than 1,000 years that Kyiv has been under the thumb of so many countries. And yes, Sir Mike, it’s happening under President Zelensky

    • The first revolution happened under Yulia Tymoshenko in 2003. And it was the AFU under Poroshenko which pushed back the invaders in Donbas later, which was the reason why Stasi Merkel forced Ukraine into that Minsk bullshit. Ukraine belongs to all of us, no matter our political differences. I may not like Zelensky, but when it comes to defending the Ukrainian people i can always be counted on. ✝️🇺🇦🚀🦩💪

      • “when it comes to defending the Ukrainian people i can always be counted on.”

Well, except for the Ukrainian people living in Crimea…

        • Key Ethnic Groups and Demographics in Crimea (2013)

Ethnic Russians (approx. 58%): Made up the majority of the population, particularly concentrated in Sevastopol and the coastal regions.

Ethnic Ukrainians (approx. 24%): The second-largest group, though many in this demographic were Russian speakers and identified with a blended “Crimean” identity.

Crimean Tatars (approx. 12%): The indigenous Turkic-speaking, Sunni Muslim population that returned to the peninsula after being deported by the Soviet regime in 1944.

Other Minority Groups: Smaller communities included Armenians, Belarusians, Jews, and Krymchaks.

As one can see, 76% of crimeans in 2013 were of non-Ukrainian origin. Which is owed to the fact that this swamp belonged to ruSSia and USSR before. I have no emotional feelings about this curse that was attached to Ukraine’s ass by the soviets to execute ultimate control over Ukraine, just in case the USSR would break up one day. It already served its dirty purpose well since day one.
