Russia has announced an attack by Ukrainian drones on the third logistics center of the Wildberries marketplace in a day. After the strike in the Perm region, a fire broke out at the company’s sorting center.

As Censor.NET reports , this is reported by Russian media and Telegram channels, in particular Astra.

According to the publication, the Wildberries sorting center in the village of Zamulyanka, Perm Krai, was hit. Ukrainian monitoring channel Exilenova+ published photos and video of the fire at the facility.

Perm Krai Governor Dmitry Makhonin said that Russian air defenses allegedly shot down 30 drones. He said that the attack damaged two non-residential buildings, but there were no injuries.

This is the third Wildberries logistics center to be attacked in a day. Earlier, Russian authorities reported strikes on the company’s warehouses in the Penza region and Udmurtia. Fires broke out at both facilities. In the Penza region, according to the Russian side, one person was injured and about 200 employees were evacuated. In Sarapul, staff managed to be evacuated before the attack began.

According to the Russian publication Verstka, Ukrainian drones have already hit 16 Wildberries logistics centers since July 18. It is alleged that more than 860,000 square meters of warehouse space have been taken out of operation, which is more than 15% of the company’s entire logistics capacity.

According to Russian media, Wildberries suffered the greatest losses in Elektrostal near Moscow, where about 250,000 square meters of warehouse space was destroyed after a fire. There were also reports of significant damage to a logistics complex in Ryazan.

After a series of attacks, the company, according to Russian media, began looking for new warehouse space. At the same time, property owners are reluctant to sign lease agreements due to the risk of new drone strikes. In addition, Wildberries is considering the possibility of locating part of its logistics facilities in Kazakhstan and is asking the Russian authorities for tax support. Джерело: https://censor.net/ua/n4016104
