The President thanked everyone who is fighting for Ukraine.
The Ukrainian flag is a goal and a dream for people in the temporarily occupied territories . They know that Ukraine will not give its land to the occupier. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a solemn event on the occasion of the National Flag Day.
“This flag is a feeling of salvation for the people we are returning from Russian captivity. When they see the Ukrainian colors, they understand: evil is over. And this flag is a goal and a dream for many of our people in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. They protect this flag. They protect it because they know: we will not give our land to the occupier,” the President of Ukraine said.
According to him, Ukraine unites the best, and it has already made it a common opinion among many that only together with Ukraine can guaranteed security for democratic nations be achieved.
“May everyone who has made their own contribution to such a force of Ukrainian colors hear these words of gratitude today. This is absolutely deserved. I want to thank everyone and everyone who fights for our state and people today,” the head of state added. Read also:
National Flag Day: what is known
On August 23, Ukraine celebrates the Day of the National Flag , a source of pride for the Ukrainian people. According to the most popular interpretation, the blue color means a clear sky, and the yellow color means a sown field. On the Day of the Flag of Ukraine, both in our country and abroad, the blue-yellow flag is raised in support of Ukrainians.

Ukrainian land will not be given to russia by other leaders either.
Zel might be minded to let putler hold pro tem onto the land he occupies; defacto only of course, just to stop the genocide. But that is still a terrible solution.
Krasnov’s latest comments reveal that he may well be teeing himself up for a total withdrawal from Ukraine, which would be ok if Europe wasn’t so flakey.

A Zel-putler meeting would achieve nothing.
That is why until a strong future US with a principled leader steps in, or Europe finally gets its shit together, forms an army with Ukraine as its senior service and kicks putler out, Ukraine is left to fight on alone against nazi vermin.
Why isn’t Ukraine recruiting mercs?
And why aren’t the “allies” paying for them?
They refuse to put combat troops on the ground, so they should pay for mercs. A bare minimum of 10 divisions are needed.
Yes I know that some Ukrainian men have refused to fight and that issue must also be addressed.
Now we know that Ukraine is even short of drone pilots. That is a disgrace.
