Following the G7 summit in France, leaders agreed to grant Ukraine licenses that will allow it to expand military production, along with increasing supplies of air defense systems, additional air defense systems, and interceptors.

“We commend Ukraine’s resilience and success on the battlefield in recent months and emphasize that new momentum is now building,” the joint statement said .

G7 leaders also reaffirmed their commitment to increasing pressure on Russia’s military economy.

“We intend to tighten sanctions, including on the oil and gas sector. We believe this is an opportune time to take additional measures, given that US President Donald Trump has reached a deal to open the Strait of Hormuz, which we support,” the G7 leaders stated.

We also reported that Ukraine is working with Europe to develop its own anti-ballistic missile system . “This is an absolutely reasonable way to increase our combined strength,” Zelenskyy added.
