In his opinion, the more effective Ukraine is in long-range operations, the faster we will be able to achieve peace.

Ukrainian long-range weapons are improving in quality , and their use now needs to be significantly scaled up. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in his evening video address .

He reported that today he had a detailed discussion with the military command about the use of Ukrainian long-range weapons. The discussion covered missiles and drones, as well as issues related to production, military supplies, and crew training.

“The task now is to be significantly more proactive in everything related to the preparation and implementation of long-range sanctions against Russia. The more effective Ukraine is in this area, the faster we can achieve peace,” Zelenskyy noted.

He said that Ukrainian long-range weapons are improving significantly in quality, and ongoing work is underway to achieve this. Numerous production opportunities have been provided, and funding and support are needed. Zelensky noted:

“We need to significantly scale up our use. There are clear plans for this in the coming months. Everything must be implemented. Ukraine’s accuracy is already evident; it needs to be improved. It’s absolutely right that Ukraine is launching retaliatory strikes, precision strikes. And, unlike Russia, we know what we want to achieve.”

The President emphasized that Ukraine wants peace and does not wage war for the sake of war, as Russia does.

“Even Hamas is already showing a willingness to negotiate, but Putin hasn’t. For now,” Zelensky emphasized.

According to him, together with its partners, Ukraine is creating conditions to force Russia to peace.

“And this will happen. We support all global diplomatic efforts for peace in the Middle East and strongly hope that fair pressure on Russia will lead to peace for Ukraine and our entire region. It is important that the leadership of the United States of America continues,” the head of state noted.
