Ukraine has very good results in long-range strikes on Russian ships in the Caspian Sea.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this on Telegram. “These are ships that were involved in the transportation of military cargo from Iran, and a warship,” he noted.

He emphasized that this night, the Defense Forces also struck targets in various regions of Russia that were working for war against Ukraine.

He confirmed the strike on a company in Kirov, which supplies components for the weapons Russia uses to strike Ukrainians. According to him, the distance from the state border of Ukraine is about 1,200 km.Read also:

Zelensky noted that attacks were also carried out on an oil refinery in Tyumen, a logistics facility in Yekaterinburg, and a fuel and lubricants warehouse in Rostov-on-Don.

What was added to the SBU

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detailed that in the Caspian Sea area, drones hit:

• oil production platform of the Filanovsky field;
• the cargo ship Port Olya 2 and the dry cargo ship Begey, which are under international sanctions and were used to transport military cargo between Iran and the Russian Federation;
• Project 12418 missile boat “Molniya”.

At the same time, the SBU emphasized that Russia will receive a response for attacks on Ukrainian ports in the south and for attempts to block Ukrainian shipping.

“These actions of the enemy will receive a legitimate response from the SBU within the framework of Ukraine’s inalienable right to self-defense. The Russian war will return to its “native harbor” and the Service’s special operations will accelerate this process,” the message says.

The agency also reported that on the night of July 25, long-range SBU drones successfully struck a number of military targets in Rostov-on-Don. In particular, the multifunctional 92N6E Grave Stone radar station and its antenna tower, which are components of the S-400 Triumph air defense system, from which the Russian Federation is shelling Ukraine, were hit.

In addition, the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system and the Pole-21 electronic warfare system were destroyed, and two warehouses with FPV drones were hit.
