The United States and the European Union have reached an agreement on the supply of weapons to Ukraine.

US President Donald Trump announced the introduction of secondary sanctions against Russia and its partners if there is no agreement on a peaceful settlement in Ukraine within 50 days. He made this statement during a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

“The US will impose 100% import duties on Russia and its trading partners if there is no peace agreement,” he specified.

The American leader also spoke about the supply of American weapons to Ukraine.

“NATO and US Permanent Representative to the Alliance Whitaker will coordinate the supply of American weapons to Ukraine,” he said.

Trump added that the United States and the European Union had reached an agreement to supply weapons to Ukraine. He said the costs would fall on Europe.

    • It’s just been confirmed, it’s not 17 systems but 17 launchers. It’s better than nothing.

        • The Patriot system is comprised of an unspecified number of launchers covering a defined territory, the larger the territory to cover the more launchers are needed. Seventeen should be good to defend the Kyiv, Odesa and Dnipro sectors imo.

    • Well, its not just for ruSSia, it is also for Turkey, India and China to find alternative sources for their oil and gas. Hopefully putin will remember what happened when Trump gave Iran 60 days.

      • Give it up. This site is swarming with leftist garbage. Trump can do whatever he wants, he won’t find friends here. They all want a victory of a Greater Germany (EU), muzzlim rapist clowns and a giant rainbow flag on top of Kyiv. I still hope for a Happy End for my Ukrainians. ✌🇺🇦✌

        • “They all want a victory of a Greater Germany”

Nah, bro – I’m good with “Putler’s scalp and a free imperial Ukraine”.

        • Talking bullshit won’t help to support your point of view, Mike.
Nobody, including you, can name the positive things that TACO has done for Ukraine. Nobody, including you, can explain why TACO has been so very forthcoming to the war criminal. Until this behavior changes through concrete, positive actions, and not hot air, my opinion about TACO will remain unchanged. Live with it, argue about it, give me some evidence, but don’t call me a leftist garbage anymore.

          • You keep talking bullshit. Ukrainian forces are outnumbered no matter what weapons they have. Trump is trying to make an end to the slaughtering and was testing the waters. Nobody more than me repeatedly harshly criticized Trump when there were good reasons. But stumping on the orange man even when he is finally doing some good things for Ukraine, fucking sucks! And i never called anybody personally garbage. If you felt adressed by it, well… Anyway i spent more than a decade with you guys here, even on vacation, even after Suzanna’s death, even when i was in hospital. But some on here have changed. I will never keep my big mouth shut, since it is my God given constitutional right to say what i think. The same goes for everybody here. In short, i will support Trump if he supports Ukraine, despite tariffs on French Camembert. I don’t attack him in advance. If he fails to deliver i will aim with my bazooka at his ass. Cheers, bro! 🍻

            • Very well. I respect your stance 100%.
I, for my part, will continue to harshly criticize the orange chump until the day concrete actions have been taken by him. IMHO, Trump merely stating things that he can easily retract don’t deserve to be treated in respectful ways. Actions always speak louder than words.
My stance should also be respected.

        • There are idiots on the left and right that want to destroy Ukraine. Stupidity has no allegiance to any side. I do worry about so called ceasefire solutions. It only strengthens Putin.

  1. And yet another moratorium for the terrible war criminals. You’d figure after refusing for a half a year to agree to a peace deal, not to mention even a simple ceasefire, this would finally move Taco to get tough on the vampire.

    • This 50 days is also a shot over China and India who will need some time to find alternate sources of oil. I’m not defending Trump, I am defending fairness and logic….

      • 90% of our electronic devices are made in China. 500% tariffs would hit US companies and consumers very hard. There is some time needed to work on such harsh measures to analyze and prepare before a possible launch.

        • It will hit China hard too and there will be an opportunity for other countries, including the USA, to make or sell the stuff. Primarily, China will likely buy more oil and gas from the West.

      • Get real, Red. Giving a war criminal another fifty days to slaughter Ukrainians is neither fair nor logical. Your defense of the indefensible is deplorable.

        • Get real? You’re a vet, how long would it take to organize a firm response for day 51? How long would it take to move everything for that response? How long would it take for those secondary countries to pressure the little zit? Trump isn’t asking the zit for a ceasefire or talks, he’s demanding an end to the war. Why isn’t Zelensky complaining about the 50 days? You’re the foreign policy expert so how long would it take?

          • Yes, get real.
Trump has been in office for how long? The vampire has played Taco like a cheap fiddle all along. Taco had more than enough time to put together a strong response to the war criminal. But, being a russian asset prevents him from doing the right thing. The added fifty days is wholly pathetic.
As for Zelensky, he must watch what he says, especially after he was senselessly attacked in the Oval Office by Taco and his junkyard dog, Vance.

      • My only query is why 50 days. Why not 30 why not 20. 50 days appear arbitrary or perhaps serving some kind of purpose. Trump is motivated, as has been shown many times, by self serving goals. Is he trying to get peace at any cost to Ukraine? Is he trying to get a Nobel Peace prize? Or perhaps he feels his legacy isn’t complete until a Trump Tower is erected in Kremlin Square? I’m not a foreign specialist guy but 50 days sounds strange.

  2. “Trump added that the United States and the European Union had reached an agreement to supply weapons to Ukraine. He said the costs would fall on Europe.”

Trump is still trying to keep his hands clean in this war with the hope of securing some vile backdoor deal with putler. It doesn’t matter where the weapons come from, but I still don’t believe Trump supports Ukraine, all he sees are dollar bills, not freshly dug graves of children.
