Previously, these companies were subject to US sanctions due to their participation in supplying Russia with equipment and materials that could be used in the military sector.
The Office of Foreign Assets Control of the US Treasury Department has lifted sanctions on a number of companies that supplied equipment to Russia, including for the military-industrial complex.

The US Treasury Department website does not indicate the reasons for this decision.
Among those removed from the “blacklist”:
- Veles International Limited (Cyprus) and its owner Dmytro Bugaenko;
- Hi-Tech Koneisto (Finland) and its manager Evgenia Dremova;
- 365 Days Freight Services FZCO (UAE);
- Etasis and CPS Proses Kontrol (Turkey).

Kick America out of NATO. America supports Russia in the war against Ukraine.
Matter of days till America will sent weapons themselves to Russia………….
“The US Treasury Department website does not indicate the reasons for this decision.”
Take a wild fucking guess …..
Everything between some gold bars for Trump till a Trump Tower in Moscow…………….and free exploitation of minerals in occupied Donbass for Trump……….
Trump also took off sanctions for a number of Russian banks including Gazprom. Was done last Friday just before the weekend where congress is adjourned for Christmas. What a MOFO
😠😤
I think the author is a little confused. First, the article doesn’t state where the info comes from and they could be misreading the actions by Treasury because this article certainly doesn’t square with this one:
https://www.unian.ua/world/sankciji-proti-rf-u-kongresi-ssha-gotuyut-novi-zhorstki-zahodi-13231074.html
Sir Red, the article quoted appears to the have an opening l8ne as follows:
“US congressmen have proposed a new bill to strengthen sanctions against Russia, which may be considered as early as January.”
A bill which maybe considered in January doesn’t have much meat, especially these days with a congress which seems to be struggling.
The article includes a link to “The US Treasury Department website”, and if you follow that link and scroll down to “The following deletions have been made to OFAC’s SDN List”, you’ll see listed the companies mentioned in the article.
“SDN List” is descibed in the Treasury Department page as, “Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List”.
The UNIAN seems pretty on-the-nose to me.
