Russian troops have completely occupied Pokrovsk and Myrnograd in the Donetsk region, Roman Pohoriliy, co-founder and analyst of the Deep State monitoring project, said on Radio NV .

“Pokrovsk, Myrnograd are occupied… The enemy is actively moving its forces there. The enemy is actively building up its infantry in large numbers there. And this is a big city, it’s even difficult to knock them out there. The equipment, the artillery, which has been standing for a long time, in particular, on the southern outskirts of Myrnograd, Pokrovska, which works further along the line of combat contact. There is an activation of pilots who fully control all logistics, they fully control the sky there,” Pohoriliy said.

He added that the Russians are currently setting up a certain bridgehead in these cities in order to move further into the territory of the Donetsk region and influence Ukrainian logistics.

“The next targets, in theory, should be Dobropillya, and there are already certain interception tasks there on their part, which they plan to move there,” Pohoriliy added.

It should be noted that the current version of the Deep State online map also shows the complete occupation of Pokrovsk and Myrnograd, although as early as May 17, the northeastern outskirts of Pokrovsk were in the “gray zone.”
