The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian army servicemen, aerobatic team aircraft and Su-25s will participate in the parade.
The May 9 parade in Moscow will be held without military equipment due to the “current situation”, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced.
The agency noted that the parade will be attended by Russian military personnel and Su-25 aerobatic teams. In particular, attack aircraft pilots will paint the sky in the colors of the Russian flag.
At the same time, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that there will be no columns of military equipment at the parade “due to the current situation.” Also, due to the “operational situation,” cadets from military schools will not participate in the parade.
“During the broadcast of the parade, the work of members of the Armed Forces of all types and categories of troops performing tasks in the area of the special military operation will be demonstrated,” the department said in a statement.
