Lviv residents were urged not to go out into the streets.
Russian occupiers launched a massive attack on Lviv on the night of October 5. The city’s mayor, Andriy Sadovyi, is asking local residents to remain calm and stay in safe places.

According to him, part of Lviv was left without electricity due to shelling, namely areas such as Ryasne and Levandivka.
The official also reported that due to the massive enemy attack, public transport in the city is not yet operating.
“I ask residents to stay safe! It is dangerous to go out on the streets right now!” he warned.
Sadovy added that there is currently no confirmed information about dangerous emissions in Lviv, but it is better to close the windows and stay in a safe place.
“After the Russian shelling, several fires are still burning in the city, so it is important to protect yourself from possible harmful fumes and smoke. After the alarm is over, do not rush to go outside. The relevant services are already working. Don’t panic. Everything will be fine. Take care of yourself and your loved ones!”, the mayor emphasized.
As reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, another group of drones is currently flying to Lviv.
Zgolom Sadovyi wrote that the Sparrow industrial park in Lviv is on fire. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties so far.
“This is a civilian facility, without any military component,” he noted.

Also, the head of the Lviv OVA, Maksym Kozytsky, reported that smoke had appeared in Lviv due to an enemy missile and drone attack.
To avoid unpleasant sensations and maintain health, you should follow these tips:
- close the windows tightly;
- refrain from going outside without urgent need;
- If you need to go out, wear a moistened mask or respirator.
“I especially ask people with chronic respiratory diseases to take care of themselves. The enemy’s attack continues. Take care of yourself and stay in shelters,” Kozytskyi noted.
Updated 09:04 . A correspondent for “Suspilny” reported that houses in the village of Lapaivka, in the Lviv district, were damaged as a result of shelling.

Updated 09:35 . As the head of the Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi later reported , two people were killed and two more were injured in a combined strike by UAVs and cruise missiles in the region.

As UNIAN reported, the Russian occupiers launched a massive attack on Ukraine with missiles and drones at night . Lviv, Cherkasy district, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk and other cities were hit.
It also became known that Poland scrambled fighter jets due to an enemy strike.
“Polish and allied aircraft are operating intensively in our airspace, and ground-based air defense and radar reconnaissance systems have reached the highest level of readiness,” the Operational Command noted.
