There’s almost no gasoline left in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk Oblast . The fuel shortage has affected both the civilian sector and Russian troops, according to Russian propagandist “Romanov Light . “

According to the propagandist, fuel periodically appears at individual gas stations in the occupied part of Donetsk Oblast, but it sells out instantly. He added that not a single gas station with fuel can be found on the Donetsk-Avilo-Uspenka highway.

Romanov also claims there is no fuel in temporarily occupied Donetsk either. He said Russian soldiers tried to buy fuel for barrels, but were refused. However, in some places, gasoline can be purchased in canisters of up to 60 liters.

According to “Military,” the Ukrainian Defense Forces have previously repeatedly struck oil depots and other Russian fuel infrastructure facilities. The publication emphasized that fuel tankers remain among the most important logistical resources on the front lines.

Furthermore, Russians continue to disguise military fuel tankers as civilian vehicles. The publication noted that this may indicate a particular vulnerability in the logistics system and concerns about losses in logistical support.

Three major Russian cities are facing gasoline shortages.

Meduza and Ksenia Sobchak’s Telegram channel previously reported that the largest gas station chains in Tatarstan, Moscow, and St. Petersburg have begun limiting fuel sales to individual customers. The Tatarstan government press service stated that the reasons for this were allegedly “to combat artificial hype and ensure a stable situation.”

The restrictions came the day after the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced on June 12 that they had successfully struck the TANECO and TAIF-NK oil refineries in Nizhnekamsk, in Tatarstan.
