They reported that soldiers had died.

As a result of  a missile strike on the Sumy region, 6 soldiers were killed and 10 were injured

The National Guard reported that the enemy attack occurred during training at the military unit’s shooting range.

“This happened on May 20. An official investigation is being conducted into the tragedy. The commander of the military unit has been suspended,” the report states. 

The National Police noted that as part of the investigation, a legal assessment will be provided of the actions of all persons who made the relevant decisions.

Russian strikes on Ukrainian military training grounds

In early March, the commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykhailo Drapatiy, noted that the Russians had launched a missile strike  on the training ground.

And later, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi announced the details of the tragedy . He noted that a comprehensive commission headed by the head of the Main Directorate of the Military Law and Order Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was sent to the scene. “For the duration of the investigation, the head of the unit training center and the commander of the military unit have been removed from their official duties,” Syrskyi emphasized then.

At that time, the media reported the possible death of more than 20 servicemen.
