Ilya Remeslo worked directly for the Kremlin for many years, but recently he made sharp criticism of the dictator.

Z-blogger Ilya Remeslo, who two days ago “blown up” the Runet by acknowledging the fact that Vladimir Putin is a “war criminal and a thief” , has already been sent to a psychiatric hospital. This is reported by other Z-bloggers and the media.

“Local sources report that Ilya Remeslo, who was making a ruckus all over Telega yesterday, was hospitalized yesterday evening in St. Petersburg’s Psychiatric Hospital No. 3. (…) Probably the most logical step. In the event that your circus monkey has broken off the chain and is shouting revolutionary slogans,” writes blogger Oleksandr Kartavikh.

The pro-government Baza public website  reports that the blogger is in the 16th ward of the hospital, where men with “symptoms of psychotic disorder that have appeared for the first time” are sent.

“Among the patients in the department are people with delusions, thinking disorders, and incoherent speech,” the public note notes.

Information about Remeslo’s hospitalization is confirmed by the well-known St. Petersburg publication Fontanka. The clinic’s information desk told the publication’s correspondent that the patient, whose name is Ilya Remeslo, can receive a parcel on Saturday and Wednesday.

Ilya Remeslo criticized Putin

As UNIAN reported, a well-known Russian Z-blogger Ilya Remeslo, who previously supported the war against Ukraine, publicly declared his loss of faith in victory and sharply criticized Vladimir Putin. In his message, he called the war hopeless, which has led to millions of victims and does not provide any benefits to ordinary citizens, but only deepens Russia’s economic problems.

Remeslo also questioned Putin’s legitimacy as president, calling for his resignation and trial. The blogger directly stated that the Russian dictator is a “war criminal and a thief.”

His statement became unprecedented for the domestic Russian media space and attracted the attention of even Western media. The blogger himself explained that he had been coming to this decision for a long time and could no longer remain silent, adding that other supporters of the war secretly shared similar sentiments. After the publication, he came under pressure from acquaintances in the security forces, but declared his readiness to bear responsibility for his words, acknowledging his role in supporting the regime.
