According to our intelligence, the Russians are preparing new ballistic missile launches.

The main target of the Russian missile strike on Kyiv was the energy sector, specifically Thermal Power Plant No. 4. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“A Russian ballistic missile strike on Kyiv. Again, without warning from our partners. The primary target was the power industry, specifically Thermal Power Plant No. 4. Unfortunately, there were hits. A residential building was also damaged, and rescuers are currently extinguishing the fire. Our system detected these missiles as they were approaching Kyiv. Thermal Power Plant No. 4 is one of Kyiv’s main energy facilities,” he wrote.

“The facts show that the Russians don’t consider it necessary to comply with what the American President said. Ukraine supported the cessation of shelling of energy facilities. Russia is targeting yet another power plant and the lives of our people. And it’s clearly unfair when they destroy both energy and Ukraine doesn’t even receive warnings about ballistic missile launches. It’s important that the world doesn’t remain silent about this. And it’s important that America truly sees what’s happening and who is to blame for the ongoing war,” Zelenskyy added.
