According to him, Starlink played a crucial role in preventing Russia from taking over Ukraine in the early days of the war.

Businessman Elon Musk admitted that he had limited the use of Starlink for the Ukrainian Armed Forces , stressing that the Ukrainian front would fall “immediately” if it disconnected its terminals.

“The use of Starlink – a civilian commercial service – to launch drone strikes to kill people has never been and should not be allowed. Starshield is another system controlled by the US government. Deciding how to use it is their business,” he wrote on the social network X.

He claims that the Ukrainian military allegedly violated the terms of use of Starlink by “using it to carry out strikes with drones with the aim of killing people.”

“This loophole was closed last week. Starlink, as before, is critical to Ukraine’s defense, as it is the only system that cannot be silenced or destroyed, at least for now. If Starlink is turned off, the Ukrainian front will collapse immediately. This is not a threat, but simply a statement of fact,” the businessman noted.

According to him, Starlink also played a crucial role in preventing Russia from taking over Ukraine in the early days of the war, when all other means of communication were destroyed or blocked by Russia.
