A lot of Russian equipment also turned into scrap metal.

During the full-scale invasion, the enemy’s total combat losses amounted to over a million people. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022 to today, Russia has lost about 1,000,340 people killed and wounded.

A large amount of equipment was also destroyed:

• tanks – 10,933 (+6 over the past day) units,
• armored combat vehicles – 22,786 (+3),
• artillery systems – 29,063 (+47),
• air defense systems – 1,184 (+1),
• Operational-tactical level UAVs – 40,435 (+138),
• automotive equipment and tank trucks – 51,715 (+136).

In addition, during Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 416 enemy aircraft, 337 helicopters, 28 ships/boats, one submarine, 3,337 cruise missiles, 1,413 MLRS, and 3,914 units of special equipment were destroyed.

The General Staff also showed a video clip, which noted that every imperial adventure had its price. “And in three and a half years of large-scale aggression in Ukraine, the losses of the Russian invaders have already amounted to a million people – destroyed and crippled due to sick imperial ambitions. And this is not the final figure. We do not celebrate the losses of the enemy, but the fewer occupiers on our land, the faster we will liberate our territories,” the video says.
