On the evening of Monday, February 23, an explosion was heard at a regional police station in Dnipro. This is the second suspected terrorist attack in the evening – a few hours ago an explosion thundered in Mykolaiv .

Updated : The National Police of Ukraine confirmed the fact of an explosion in the police administrative building. It occurred at 8:30 p.m. in the Amur-Nizhnyodniprovskyi district of the city.

“There were no injuries as a result of the incident. The blast wave damaged the windows of the building, furniture, and computer equipment. A car parked next to the building was also damaged,” the statement said.

Law enforcement officers added that the circumstances of the incident are being investigated. Explosives experts, forensic experts, and an investigative and operational group are working at the scene.

The incident was first reported by RBC-Ukraine , citing sources in law enforcement agencies.

Dnipro public forums wrote that the explosion occurred on the left bank of the city.

A video of the aftermath of the explosion later appeared online. The footage shows windows shattering in the building. It is reported that an unknown object exploded in one of the offices.

Terrorist attacks against police
