TOLOKA drone: what is known
Defense Express analysts reported on the work on the TOLOKA underwater drone in May 2023. At that time, it was reported about the modification of the TLK-150 – the smallest UAV in this series. It was noted that its dimensions are smaller than the kamikaze drones that Ukraine has. However, due to the ability to operate underwater, this drone has less visibility for enemy radar stations.
It was noted that the developers planned several options for the size of the TOLOKA underwater drone:
- TLK-150 – hull size 2.5 m, range – up to 100 km, power plant – electric motor, mass of warhead (warhead) or other payload – 20-50 kg;
- TLK 400 – hull size 4-6 m, declared range – up to 1200 km, mass of warhead or other payload – up to 500 kg;
- TLK 1000 – hull size from 4 to 12 m, declared range – up to 2000 km, declared mass of warhead or other payload – up to 5000 kg.

Already in February 2025, President Volodymyr Zelensky showed one of the TOLOKA drones to leaders of foreign states and international organizations. It is unknown which modification of the UAV was in question.
