This morning, Russian occupiers attacked the city of Zaporizhzhia , killing seven people. Three children were among the dead, and 11 others were injured. The city was left devastated.

The State Emergency Service (SESU) reported this in a statement. “Among the injured are a 14-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy. The Russian air strike completely destroyed the entrance to a three-story building, and also damaged other buildings and private homes,” the statement said.

Rescuers have extinguished the fire and are currently continuing to clear rubble and search for people.

“ Seven people have already died as a result of the Russian attack. Among them are three children… Two of the injured are in serious condition , “ added Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Head Mykhailo Semikin.

Furthermore, as Ivan Fedorov, co-chairman of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Defense Council, clarified , the Russians launched guided bombs on the regional center at 4:48 a.m.

“As a result of the attack, at least 26 residential buildings were damaged – 23 high-rise buildings and three private homes in the Shevchenkivskyi and Voznesenivskyi districts. Three buildings sustained significant damage. Non-residential buildings and premises were also damaged,” he reported.
