At around 3:40 p.m., the Russians launched ballistic missiles at Kryvyi Rih , hitting a residential high-rise building.
This was announced by the chairman of the city’s Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.
“Ballistics. “High-precision” monsters directly hit a 4-story residential building with 32 apartments,” he wrote in Telegram .
He noted that emergency services are already on the scene.
“Unfortunately, we are preparing for difficult news,” Vilkul added.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak, also writes about the hit on a residential building.
“The information is being clarified. We are also finding out whether people were injured,” he noted in Telegram .
Lysak urged citizens to wait until the end of the day before leaving a safe place. He also reported in the messenger that previously, five people were injured in Kryvyi Rih. Two of them were pulled out from under the rubble. They are being provided with the necessary medical assistance.
Updated. 16:34. The Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Dmytro Lubinets, published a photo of a destroyed house hit by an enemy ballistic missile, and emphasized that the Russians carried out the strike on Christmas Eve, when families were preparing for Christmas Eve.
