About 30 buildings were damaged in the Shostka community, and a 7-year-old child was among the injured.

In Sumy region, Russian occupiers killed three people, and many were injured as a result of enemy strikes in the region. This is stated in a message on the Telegram channel of the Sumy regional military administration regarding the security situation in the region as of the morning of July 14.

It is noted that as a result of Russian shelling of the region, civilians have been killed and injured. Thus, in the Seredino-Bud community, a local resident (born in 1974) was injured due to shelling from a multiple launch rocket system.

“In the Sumy community, a man (born in 1969) was killed and three civilians (born in 1967, born in 1998, and born in 1971) were injured as a result of shelling,” the report says.

In addition, in the Novoslobodsk community, two local residents (born in 1953 and born in 1961) were injured by FPV drone strikes.

“In the Shostka community, as a result of a strike using a UAV, 2 men (born in 1970 and 1975) were killed, 4 civilians were injured (two women and a man – all born in 1995, and a child born in 2018),” the OVA reported.

It is noted that during the day, from the morning of July 13 to the morning of July 14, Russian troops carried out more than 90 attacks on 32 settlements in 14 territorial communities of the region. The largest number of attacks was recorded in Sumy and Shostka districts.

The enemy actively used guided aerial bombs and dropping explosive ordnance from drones: almost 20 UAV dropping explosive ordnance and almost 30 KAB strikes. The enemy also carried out strikes with FPV drones, UAVs, and MLRS on the territory of Sumy region.

As a result of the shelling, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed: in the Seredyno-Bud community, a private residential house was damaged, and in the Sumy community, a motoblock and non-residential buildings were damaged.

“About 30 multi-storey, private and non-residential buildings were damaged in the Shostka community. A civil infrastructure facility was destroyed. The elimination of the consequences is ongoing, the scale of the destruction is being clarified,” the OVA reported, adding that the air alert in the region lasted 16 hours and 40 minutes during the day.
