The roadway, trolleybus contact line, and power line were damaged.
On the night of Saturday, November 7, the Russians fired several missiles at the Northern Bridge in Kyiv, according to the capital’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko.
According to him, the enemy attack damaged the roadbed, the trolleybus contact line, and the power line. In addition, the mayor said, the blast wave damaged 5 trucks in the parking lot.

“Now road workers will work on the bridge, repair the damage, and utility workers are working,” he noted.
Traffic on the North Bridge in both directions is temporarily blocked.
According to the Kyiv City State Administration, buses that previously ran through the Northern Bridge have been diverted to the Podilskyi bridge crossing. Transport will temporarily run as follows:
- No. 21, 73, 101 – to the metro station “Kontraktova Ploshcha”;
- No. 29-TR – from Darnytska Square to the metro station “Kontraktova Ploshcha”;
- No. 30-TR – on two sections: Myloslavska Street – Pochaina metro station (via Novokostyantynivska Street); Kadetskyi Gay Street – Pochaina metro station;
- No. 31-TR – from Myloslavska Street to Lukyanivska metro station via Hlybochytska Street (according to the bus route No. 112);
- No. 47-TR – from the metro station “Minska” to the metro station “Pochaina”.
It is noted that further work on the restoration of the bridge will be determined based on the results of the survey and relevant conclusions from specialists from specialized institutions, as well as taking into account the security situation.
It should be noted that this is not the first time the Russians have struck at this bridge in Kyiv. The enemy previously struck at the beginning of October. At that time, the roadbed was seriously damaged.
