Russian troops have entered the outskirts of Myrnohrad in the Pokrovsky district of Donetsk Oblast. Street fighting is ongoing there.

Grigoriy Shapoval, spokesman for the communications department of the Eastern Group of Forces, stated this during the telethon. “Unfortunately, the enemy has now reached the outskirts of Myrnohrad, using not only artillery and unmanned aerial systems, but also infantry and technical assets,” he said.

He noted that the Defense Forces are trying to hold their positions and are constructing fortifications. “The situation is quite dire, and there is heavy street fighting,” added the spokesman for the Eastern Group of Forces. He added that this prevents the use of certain assets.
