The Russian arms factory Promtekhnologiya, which produces sniper rifles and ammunition under the ORSIS brand, has begun supplying the occupiers with ammunition loaded with American and Finnish high-precision bullets, The Insider reports  .

It is noted that from March 2022 to February 2024, more than 10 million bullets produced by NATO countries were imported to Russia.

A significant number of these were high-precision bullets in the .338 Lapua Magnum and .375 CheyTac calibers, designed for long-range shooting.

Journalists also noted that there are indirect indications that some of the batches of American bullets imported into Russia during this period were shipped via the European Union. For example, on June 8, 2022, Tetis IF LLC received a declaration of conformity ROSS RU D-US.RA01.A.20191/22 for a batch of American Hornady bullets. The declaration indicated that testing documents for the bullets were issued on April 28, 2022, at the Finnish laboratory Lapua Test Shooting Lab, protocol number 393/16.

The publication added that the Promtekhnologiya plant had previously encountered a shortage of American bullets, leading to the decision to use Finnish bullets. However, it appears the company has recently resolved this issue.

In April 2026, Russian “war correspondents” reported that Russian army snipers began receiving ammunition for ORSIS sniper rifles from the Russian Ministry of Defense, consisting of American Peterson cartridges and American Hornady bullets. The occupiers received new batches of tanks – what is known

Uralvagonzavod (UVZ) previously delivered new batches of T-90M Proryv and T-72B3M tanks to the occupation army. The combat vehicles received improved all-round protection.

The T-90M “Proryv” is the latest version of the Russian T-90 main battle tank, which, in turn, is a major modernization of the Soviet T-72. The T-72B3M, on the other hand, is a simpler and more cost-effective alternative to the T-90M.
