Russian occupiers dropped an aerial bomb on the center of Dobropillya, in the Donetsk region. The strike resulted in deaths and many injuries. This was reported by the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Dmytro Lubinets.

According to him, the Russian Federation shelled the city at an hour when people were returning from work. 

“The blow fell on the area of the Aurora store. There are dead and many injured. Rescuers, medics, military doctors are working – the local hospital cannot accept everyone,” Lubinets wrote.

The Ombudsman emphasized that the enemy once again inflicted a deliberate blow on civilians. 

“Russia is a terrorist state that is waging war against peaceful Ukrainians and destroying lives even far from the front line. The world must finally admit: terrorism will not stop on its own. We need concrete solutions, increased pressure, and action!” he urged.

Updated 19:14 . The head of the Donetsk OVA, Vadym Filashkin, reported that as of now, two people are known to have died and 14 injured as a result of an enemy strike on the city.

“The Russians again targeted a place where there is always a lot of people – a shopping center in the city center. This time they used a 500-kilogram aerial bomb. According to preliminary estimates, 30 damaged retail outlets, 6 high-rise buildings, and 8 cars are known. It is likely that people are still trapped under the rubble – the search for survivors is ongoing,” the official noted.
