Russian occupiers attacked a medical facility in central Kyiv, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on Telegram .

“Emergency services continue to work in Kyiv, at the site of a direct strike on the Academy of Sciences building. Unfortunately, one person is currently known to have died and six others injured, including three children. This afternoon, Russian forces also struck a medical facility in the center of the capital,” the head of state said.

According to him, rescuers are now trying to quickly extinguish the fire.

According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, a 7-story administrative building in the Shevchenkivskyi district was hit at the fourth floor level.

According to a Radio Liberty correspondent , the strike hit the building where the Dobrobut hospital is located.
