The enemy shelled a crowded area with cluster munitions.

The Russian occupation army shelled the town of Druzhkovka in the Donetsk region with cluster munitions , causing seven deaths and 15 injuries, according to Vadim Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Special Operations Forces.

“The Russians fired cluster munitions at the city, hitting the market where a lot of people always gather in the morning,” the official said.

According to him, seven people were initially reported dead and eight injured. Later, 15 were reported injured. These people ranged in age from 50 to 72.

“At least seven people, aged between 43 and 81, were killed,” he said . 

“This is yet another targeted war crime and further proof that all Russian statements about a ‘ceasefire’ are worthless,” Filashkin noted.

Furthermore, according to his information, the enemy also dropped two aerial bombs on Druzhkovka. An industrial zone, three high-rise buildings, and three private homes were damaged.Read also:

Filashkin added that all relevant services are working at the scene, providing assistance to the victims and dealing with the aftermath of the shelling.
