This afternoon, the Russian occupation army attacked a post office in a shopping mall in the suburbs of Odessa with jet drones – there are injuries.

As an UNIAN correspondent reports, the air alert was declared at around 1:30 p.m. Monitoring channels warned that Russian jet drones were approaching the regional center and suburbs. Shooting and explosions could be heard in the city. Monitors urged the population to immediately leave gas stations, large stores, supermarkets, etc. and go to shelters or other safe places.

Soon, the head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, reported that a hit had occurred and that there were already casualties.

“The enemy cynically attacked a post office in a shopping center in the suburbs of Odessa with a jet drone. Unfortunately, two people were injured as a result of the shelling. One person was hospitalized,” the official said.

He soon added that a 42-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man were injured in the attack. Both were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds. Information about the consequences of the attack is being clarified.

Eyewitnesses reported on social media that the Nova Poshta warehouse, located in the Epicenter building, caught fire as a result of the shelling.

Updated at 16:34 Kiper later reported that the number of injured has increased to 4 people, three of whom are hospitalized.

“Among the victims are a 42-year-old woman and three men aged 32 to 43. The victims are being provided with all necessary assistance. The consequences of the attack are being eliminated at the scene,” the official added.

He also stressed that the enemy has repeatedly attacked civilian infrastructure – a strike by a jet UAV destroyed two residential buildings. According to preliminary data, three people were injured. All relevant services are working at the scene.
