A Russian government Il-96 plane landed in the United States . No visits by a Russian delegation to the United States have been officially reported.
According to data from the flight tracking service Flightradar24 , a Russian government plane with the tail number RA-96018 took off from Moscow, landed in St. Petersburg, and then flew to the United States.
The service recorded that the plane landed at Kennedy Airport in New York on June 25 at 15:27 local time (22:27 Kyiv time). A few hours later, the plane flew to Washington, where it landed at 20:56 the same day (i.e. 03:56 on June 26 Kyiv time). It is unknown who was on board.

What preceded
As UNIAN reported, yesterday the US president was in the Netherlands for the NATO summit. After official meetings, he returned to the US. The president was in the Netherlands for less than 24 hours.
At the summit, the US president did not rule out the possibility that Russian leader Putin’s territorial ambitions extend beyond Ukraine. However, he expressed the view that Putin wants to end the war in Ukraine.
