The crash occurred near the Uvodskoye Reservoir, and fragments of the plane were found floating in the water, a TASS source reported. According to the source, the An-22 was on a scheduled test flight following repairs.
The crew of the downed An-22 is presumed dead. The search for survivors continues, Mash reports. The plane last communicated with the public at 11 a.m. Moscow time. A few hours later, it crashed in the Furmansky district.
