The number of injured has increased sharply and now stands at 17 people, seven of whom have been hospitalized.

The occupiers dropped three guided aerial bombs (GABs) on civilian infrastructure in the Zarichny district of the city of Sumy , resulting in the deaths of 4 people, according to the latest data.

This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration (OVA) Oleg Grigorov on Telegram. “At this moment, the death of four people as a result of a Russian KAB strike on Sumy has been confirmed,” Grigorov said.

In addition, seven more victims were taken to hospitals. Doctors are providing them with the necessary assistance.

Later, Grigorov reported that the number of victims of the Russian attack had increased to 17.

As the acting mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar, clarified  , among the dead is a 13-year-old girl who was at a public transport stop.

Rescue operation underway. The threat of enemy attacks remains in the city. Residents of Sumy are advised to stay in safe areas and avoid the areas hit by the missiles due to the risk of repeated strikes.
