Russian military drones attacked the Dnipro, causing fires in the city and injuries, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak,  reported .

“The Russians attacked the Dnipro UAV. Preliminary, there are wounded,” he noted.

According to him, several fires broke out in the city as a result of the attack. All details are being clarified.

According to social media , a large-scale fire is raging in the city center as a result of a drone attack, including burning cars. 

There are also many ambulances at the scene of the attack. Some of the wounded are being treated right in the middle of the street.

Updated at 18:01 . According to the official, a man died in the attack and was taken to the hospital in serious condition. 

“Unfortunately, the injured man, who was in serious condition, could not be saved,” Lysak said.

According to medical information, 15 people are already known to have been injured. Two of them will recover at home, the others in hospitals.

Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov clarified that the building of the medical center and children’s dentistry was damaged as a result of the impact. 

Updated at 5:16 p.m. According to him, as of now, there are 12 victims. They have shrapnel wounds, lacerations, and bruises. 

“Most are hospitalized. One person is in serious condition,” Lysak noted. 

An official previously said there were injuries in the attack, but the exact number was unknown.  

The head of the OVA also added that several fires occurred in the city due to shelling.
