“The Ukrainian Navy’s reconnaissance assets received a radio intercept about the loss of contact with the Russian hijackers’ Su-30SM aircraft, which was performing missions southeast of Zmeiny Island. The aircraft probably crashed for unknown reasons,” the Ukrainian Navy said in a statement on Telegram .
According to the Ukrainian Navy, the occupiers are currently conducting a search and rescue operation. According to available information, the wreckage of the plane has been found on the sea surface. It is specified that the pilot has not yet been found.
