BREAKING NEWS: Russia hits Odessa with missiles: there are 2 dead, children among the wounded

The enemy has been attacking the Odessa region for the seventh day.

The Russian occupation army launched a missile strike on Odessa on the evening of July 16 , at least two deaths are already known, including children among the wounded.

As an UNIAN correspondent reports, an air raid alert was issued at around 10:00 p.m. and monitoring channels reported that missiles were flying towards the city. Soon, loud explosions were heard in Odessa.

Later, the head of the Odessa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, confirmed that the enemy had carried out a missile attack. As of 23:00, two people were reported dead and six wounded, including three children.

Lysak noted that relevant services are working on the scene.

The head of the Odessa Regional Emergency Management Agency, Oleg Kiper, reported that there was damage to civilian infrastructure and fires. The information about the victims is being clarified. The photo he published shows that residential buildings were destroyed by the impact.

People are reporting on social media that a man died from shrapnel wounds.

Monitoring channels are calling on Odessa residents to reconsider their attitude towards the missile threat. After all, the enemy has been striking the Odessa region for the seventh day – everyone should know where there is shelter, including along the route to or from work. It is emphasized that the enemy will only increase the pressure on the city.
